Ambos empezaron su trayectoria en Lloret de Mar, Marc en la Peña Barcelonista y Jonathan en el Club de Atletismo Lloret-La selva. Curiosamente, tanto uno como el otro, fueron fichados de muy jovencitos por el Fútbol Club Barcelona y consolidaron el camino que habían iniciado en el pueblo que los vio hacer los primeros pasos como deportistas. Marc y Jonathan son dos verdaderos campeones que hacen honor a la larga tradición deportiva de Lloret de Mar. #### Jonathan Romeo: del cross lloretenc a deslumbrar Europa Empezó con 8 años en el Club de Atletismo Lloret y muy pronto destacó, convirtiéndose en uno de los juniors más prometedores del circuito estatal y europeo. Esto hizo que el F.C. Barcelona lo incorporara a su disciplina. Después de unos años de progresión meteórica, y ya como atleta senior, Jonathan volvió a su club de origen donde consiguió quedar en el tercer lugar del Campeonato de España de 3000 obstáculos. Gracias a su meritoria medalla de bronce fue convocado para ir al Mundial de Londres, la cita deportiva más importante del atletismo, después de las Olimpiadas. Allá el lloretenc no consiguió por bien poco llegar a la final, pero fue el mejor deportista de la delegación española. ![jonathan_romeo](https://mylloret.lloretdemar.org/hs-fs/hubfs/jonathan_romeo.jpg?width=583&name=jonathan_romeo.jpg "jonathan_romeo") #### Marc Muniesa: de Lloret a jugar con las estrellas Comenzó jugando de extremo en la Peña Barcelonista de Lloret y, al cabo de poco, el Barça lo fichó. Reconvertido en central, Muniesa fue durante muchos años una de las perlas de la Masía azulgrana y llegó a debutar con el primer equipo de la mano de Guardiola cuando tenía sólo 17 años. El julio del 2013 fichó por el Stoke City de la Premier inglesa. Después de 3 temporadas a gran nivel a la que, probablemente, sea la liga más competitiva de Europa, el lloretenc vuelve cedido en su tierra natal para reforzar un Girona F.C. acabado de ascender a la primera división española.
