Una historia que no se puede entender sin tener en cuenta la importante impronta que dejaron los lloretenses que se establecieron en La Habana en los siglos XIX y XX, los llamados americanos. Poca gente sabe que **fue un lloretense, Constantí Ribalaigua y Vert, quién sublimó la receta del daiquiri hasta llevarla a la perfección.** ## El mejor coctelero del siglo XX Constantí Ribalaigua nació en 1888 en Lloret de Mar y en 1899 emigró a Cuba con su familia. Muy pronto empezó a trabajar en el Floridita que, en aquel entonces, era propiedad de otros lloretenses, Narciso y Francesc Sala Parera. Constantí les compró el establecimiento en 1918. Empezaba de este modo una trayectoria que lo llevaría a ser considerado el mejor coctelera del siglo XX. **Entre los hitos de este lloretense ilustre hay que destacar los más de 150 cócteles que inventó, cinco de los cuales los expertos sitúan entre los 10 mejores cócteles caribeños de todos los tiempos.** ![](https://mylloret.lloretdemar.org/hubfs/bealloretenc/be-daiquiri/constanti_ribalaigua.png) Constantí Ribalaigua ![](https://mylloret.lloretdemar.org/hubfs/bealloretenc/be-daiquiri/narcis_sala_parera.png) Narcís Sala i Parera # El Daiquiri Frozen, la receta lloretense Constantí es el creador del Daiquiri *Frozen*, también conocido como daiquiri floridita o daiquiri lloretense. Su secreto es bien sencillo y, por eso, genial: Constantí es el primero que añade hielo picado al combinado para obtener una bebida más refrescante y de textura diferente. El éxito es inmediato.
